The Heather Edwards Band


Is a group of extraordinary talented musicians combining years of performing experience to bring a dynamic and exciting stage show to your venue! The band won top Country Band in 2004-2009 from M.E.O.N.A,  Their set list includes a wide variety of the best-hit songs from today’s top New Country and Rock female artists as well as Classic Rock and Southern Rock favorites. Their high-energy show keeps the dance floor packed and the crowd wanting more from the first note to the last!


Heather Edwards

 Heather Edwards brings years of performing experience and an incredible voice to the band.
Heather has won female vocalist numerous times from M.E.O.N.A., one of the oldest local music website. Heather
has been a state finalist at The Virginia State Fair for The Colgate Country Showdown twice. She was also invited to
perform at the Annual Pepsi Independace Day Celebration in Johnson City, Tennessee, July 4th 2004 before an audience
of 50,000. The Heather Edwards Band continued to play the event for the next three years. Her current CD " Better Off Friends" includes current "New Country" hits from artist such as Faith Hill and Martina McBride, "Old Country" favorites, as well as a few original songs. Bill Culliton

  Bill Culliton has been playing music in the Hampton Roads area for over 20 years. He is well known
among local musicians for being a solid, dependable bassist. Along with country music, Bill enjoys playing rock, blues, and dance. Also an accomplished guitarist, his instrument of choice will always be bass in any serious ensemble he joins.

Dan Henry

Dan Henry is a veteran guitarist/musician in the seven city region for 35+ years. Versatility is the one word description that fits him best. Having recorded in many of the areas sound studios, (Live Oak Sound, Master Sound Studios, and MicroStar Studio) Daniel has made a name for himself that has gained the respect of his musician peers and listeners alike. Performing bands have included, Southern Country, Jerry Lee Scott Band , Nighthawk, Borderline, Southern Blend,The Dan Henry Band, Bluelords, worship teams at Open Door Chapel, Galilee Episcopal Church, Vineyard Community Church. Opening for national touring acts, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Lynns, Phil Keaggy, Margaret  Becker and others. Daniel designed and built guitar amplifiers for Holland Amplifier and has designed many circuits and devises, Dan also taught guitar at Quality Music Center in Chesapeake. John Fogerty, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton are some of Dan’s influences. From there, more vertical styles helped to expand Dan’s style such as, Phil Keaggy, Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Daniel is a 'strat' style player who uses a variety of amps, mostly vacuum tube, and an array of effects that help to personalize his style and emulate other guitarists when called for. A heavily modified black and white Yamaha Pacifica is Dan's number one guitar. Click Photo for Gallery.

Nathan Firth

 Nathan Firth (aka Cha-Chi) has been playing music since he was 10. He played drums for The
Heather Edwards Band for 4 years and has moved to rhythm guitar. As a Singer/Songwriter, Nathan has added to the
original material the band presents. Nathan has played with local bands "Attic 1013" and "Free Beer and French Fries"
throughout the Tidewater Area. He won a singing competition and will be traveling to Kansas City, Missouri as an opening act at The Power Plant Live Summer Concert Series in 2011. Click Photo for Gallery.

Brian Arters

Brian Arters has been playing piano and keyboards for over 30 years. He started at the age of 5,
inheriting his Father's ear for music. Brian has played with several rock bands in the area, the latest, as the founding
member of Earl's Used Audio. Brian enjoys stretching music and changing arrangements on the fly. Brian plays a Korg
X50 and Technics P50 and uses a Roland KC-550 amp. His favorite artists are Bruce Hornsby and Billy Joel, as well as
many various jazz artists. His biggest musical influence was his father. Click Photo for Gallery.

Tom Gogarty

  Tom Gogarty (June 20th 1952 - November 26th 2010) was a founding member of The Heather Edwards
Band. He played lead/rhythm guitar, flute, sang lead and back up vocals. He was the band leader since the start of the
band. Tom was a very accomplished and highly skilled musician and vocalist with many, many years of perfoming
experience. He toured with many bands along the Eastern Seaboard. Locally his most well known band was the classic
rock group "Midnight Fury" and Tom occasionally sat in with Jerry Lee Scott.
Tommy G is sorely missed and still thought of by all members of The Heather Edwards Band as our leader and Great Friend. Click Photo for Gallery.
